PARADE INFORMATION

Deadline: All parade applications are due by August 1^st. (We might be able to squeeze you in if you are late, so please call the parade coordinator.)

Registration Fees:

Single Vehicles: $35.00

Vehicle & Boat or Vehicle & Trailer: $35.00

Horses: $25.00

Queens: $25.00

Queens Requiring a Vehicle to Ride In: $75.00

Line Up: Line Up begins at the intersection of Clay Hill Road and Bill Canady Road.

Parade Route: Clay Hill Road, right on Sneads Ferry Road, left on Fulchers Landing Road, right on Wheeler Creek Road. All roads will be closed just before 10 a.m.

Parade End Pick Up: Parking to pick up parade participants should be away from the end of the parade route. Parking is available in the New River Community Church Parking lot near Highway 172.  

Viewing the Parade: There are lots of great places to view the parade as it winds along the roads and around to the waterway. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy!

Weather: It is always hot and humid in August so please remember to hydrate!

Dress code: We are a family festival, please dress accordingly when participating in the parade.

Emergencies: If you have an emergency while in the parade, please exit the parade route immediately and call 911. Emergency vehicles are strategically located in the front and end of the parade to handle emergencies.
