Entry Fee $5.00
Enclose a check or money order payable to: Sneads Ferry Shrimp Festival for $5.00 for each participant.
There are no refunds due to weather, but if the Sneads Ferry Shrimp Festival is rescheduled you must contact your coordinator to confirm that you will be at the rescheduled date.
By signing below I agree to abide by the following rules of eligibility, liability release and publicity release.
- All shrimp that are headed must have the heads and all legs totally removed from the body of the shrimp in order to be counted. If a shrimp head or any of it’s legs are still attached to the shrimp that shrimp will not be counted.
- Once the timed event whistle has been blown I will immediately stop heading shrimp and step back from the table.
- Although I may head all of my shrimp within the timed event they must be counted to verify accuracy and count prior to any judgment.
- I agree to produce a form of identification to verify my age in order to enter in any event.
- All winning gift certificates must be used at the designated local seafood houses within one year of the date of the Shrimp Festival.
- This is a local event and applications will not be mailed to participants, you must pick them up from a local seafood house or on download from the website.
- Applications
for this event may be filled out and turned in any time before the start
of the event. Please drop or mail your completed application to the
- Photographs will be taken of all participants, especially the winners and I grant the Sneads Ferry Shrimp Festival and the Sneads Ferry Community Council the exclusive, perpetual right to publish, use, edit, adapt, modify and/or copy photos for any and all purposes in any and all media currently in existence or hereafter invented without any compensation to me.
- I release the Sneads Ferry Shrimp Festival and the Sneads Ferry Community Council, all if it’s members and anyone else working or volunteering at the festival from any liability arising out of my participation in this contest.
- I grant the Sneads Ferry Shrimp Festival and Sneads Ferry Community Council the right to use my name, photograph, likeness or information in advertising and promotion without compensation or my specific permission.
- All winners names and photographs may be published on the Sneads Ferry Shrimp Festival and Sneads Ferry Community Council websites.
- NO MECHANICAL DEVICES OR TOOLS ALLOWED. HEADING WILL BE DONE WITH HANDS ONLY.
